Home from surgery, tired, horribly sore from the 1930's hospital bed, but otherwise feeling great. Having a hard time with water, it seems Hard to swallow, protien is going down ok, bu****er, wow. It gets easier right? I had to stay an extra day becasue of a elevated WBC, but finally made it home last yesterday evening. I love mu surgeon Dr Yadegar is so wonderful, I had 3 nurses that were beyond wonderful Especially Raeann, she is definatly and Angel. And as for my Husband and Son, I am totally blessed with the most wonderful men on earth. So move over on the bench, here comes another willing Looser!!!

Glad to hear you are home and doing well. Water ect.... will get better. You just have to take it one day at a time right now. Nice to hear you had a good experience in the hospital too.

Welcome home.  Glad that everything went ok.  Remember you did have major surgery.  Don't rush things.  It's really hard to drink that much water right away, I had one heck of a time, just drink slowly sipping.  Each week will get better.  Now just take it easy, each day you will feel better.

Good luck to the bench!

Congratulations...welcome home!
Water tastes and feels yucky for the first few weeks.  Too cold and it will make your pouch cramp..try it as warm tea..as much as you can drink but not caffinated.  I liked Lemon and Peppermint flavors.  Gingerbread Tea was awesome.!
You will do just fine..follow your doctor's protocol...come here for help and support...
Best wishes!!

KarenAnn,

Congrats and welcome to the losers bench.  Not to worry, things will get better.  I agree totally with what others have said and Kim's comment on the tea was spot on for me.  I did chamomile, peppermint, and Celestial Seasonings has a wonderful herbal citrus tea that was SO yummy and soothing.

Welcome home, the best is yet to come!

Hugs,
Barb
